01
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on a computer, phone or other device when a website is visited. Similar technologies can also store information on, or access information from, a device. They may be used to make a website work, remember choices, measure use or support advertising.
02
How this website currently uses cookies
The Fencing Masters website plugin does not deliberately set analytics, advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Public pages are designed to work without those non-essential categories.
Strictly necessary technologyWordPress, the website host or security services may use essential technology to deliver pages, protect forms, balance traffic or maintain security. These purposes are necessary for the service requested and cannot always be switched off through the website.
Administrator cookiesWordPress uses cookies when an authorised administrator signs in. These support login, security and dashboard preferences and are not intended to track ordinary public visitors.
Analytics cookiesNone deliberately set by this plugin at the time this policy was published.
Advertising cookiesNone deliberately set by this plugin at the time this policy was published.
03
Enquiry-form security
The enquiry form uses a time-limited security token and a server-side anti-spam rate limiter. The plugin does not store the submitted enquiry as a WordPress record and does not need an analytics or advertising cookie to process the form. A short-lived, one-way identifier used to limit repeated submissions expires after one hour.
04
Third-party websites
The site contains links to external services, including WhatsApp. Simply displaying a link does not mean this plugin sets that service’s cookies. If you follow the link, the destination website or app may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own policy.
Other WordPress plugins, hosting features or services added after this policy is published may introduce additional technology. The site owner should review and update this policy and, where required, obtain consent before any non-essential technology is used.
05
How to control cookies
You can use your browser settings to view, delete or block cookies and to restrict third-party cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect website administration or features that depend on security and session controls.
If non-essential cookies are introduced in future, visitors must be given clear information and an appropriate consent choice before they are used, unless a legal exception applies.
06
Updates and further information
We may update this Cookie Policy when website technology or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. For information about personal data, please read our Privacy Policy.
Questions can be sent through the website enquiry form or the other contact methods published on this website.
